About the 2007 EMAC EMS Summit
The NASEMSO EMAC and EMS Resources for National Disaster Response Summit took place on June 20, 2007, at the Holiday Inn Arlington, Arlington, Virginia.
Desired Outcomes:
- Plan to optimize EMAC capacity to organize ambulance (government and nongovernmental).
- Consensus on how to best coordinate the ambulance deployment given the multiple demands and possible utilization.
- Process to enable the stakeholders to work together with the responsible Federal agencies.
- Consensus on the current HHS model for a national ambulance contract.
