Organizing Meeting of a New NASEMSO Council
As part of the NASEMSO 2008 Mid-Year Meeting, on June 24, 2008, at 11:30 a.m., NASEMSO and Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) representatives will meet to formally organize the new EMSC Council. The EMSC Council will be the fifth NASEMSO Council. As part of this meeting, participants will:
- Develop the vision, mission statement and scope of the EMSC Council,
- Elect officers,
- Plan the next steps for the EMSC Council,
- Discuss performance measures,
- Discuss the implementation manual, and
- Explore other initiatives.
The organizational meeting will provide an opportunity for every state to be a part of the process. The NASEMSO Executive Board has encouraged states to make the necessary arrangements and allow their EMSC Coordinators to attend this groundbreaking meeting.
